Product Description
Mobil SHC Polyrex 462 grease is specifically developed to improve your productivity by solving high temperature lubrication problems in both general industry and food processing applications. Developed using Mobil Polyrex EM technology, this synthetic, polymer-enhanced, ISO 460 grease brings a high temperature solution to the market while carrying a full NSF H1 registration.
Mobil SHC Polyrex 462 is designed to offer a combination of high temperature performance, excellent water resistance, and the balanced performance properties consistent with Mobil grease products. Using the proprietary Mobil Polyrex EM thickener technology, ExxonMobil researchers developed a unique combination of synthetic oils that achieve excellent high temperature performance able to provide lubrication up to 160°C. Mobil SHC Polyrex 462 also utilizes a high performance additive package that gives balanced performance including excellent load carrying capabilities and rust protection. The balanced approach achieves high performance in these categories without compromising the outstanding oxidation life all Mobil Polyrex branded products are known for. The formulation is also polymer enhanced to resist both equipment wash downs common in the food processing industry and oil loss at high temperatures.
Mobil SHC Polyrex 462 is an NLGI 2, ISO 460 grease designed to meet the demanding high temperature requirements of both general industry and the food processing machinery industry, while carrying an NSF H1 registration.
