Teresstic GT is a high-quality turbine oil formulated to provide effective day-in and day-out performance of steam turbine and gas turbine electricity generators and mechanical drive systems. Teresstic GT is available in two ISO grades, 32 and 46.
The advanced, non-volatile additive formulation in Teresstic GT provides
exceptionally long service life. Its excellent oxidation resistance minimizes
sludge and varnish formation to maintain oil cleanliness. With Teresstic GT,
oil conditioning needs are less critical and the need for reinhibition in
severe-service applications is much less frequent.
Teresstic
GT offers excellent water separation, anti-foam and low air entrainment
qualities to make a high rate of oil circulation possible. Its long-lasting
rust controlling additives ensure the protection of critical oil system
components. Its optimum viscosity, combined with high oil flow, allows maximum
heat removal from bearings, while consuming less energy in internal friction
and pumping losses. Teresstic GT helps protect high-performance equipment
configurations, providing the necessary lubricant film strength to help
prevent premature wear and bearing failures.
Teresstic GT is appropriate for a wide range of turbine applications, such as steam and gas turbines, compressors and pumps, including piston hydraulic pumps. It is an excellent multi-purpose lubricant.
