Product Description

Mobil Super High Mileage uses a combination of synthetic and conventional high quality base oils combined with modern performance additives to help provide long engine life and outstanding protection for vehicles with more than 75,000 miles. Formulated with seal conditioner, Mobil Super High Milegage helps prevent leaks and reduce oil consumption.

These oils protect against sludge, engine rust and corrosion under severe and low-temperature operating conditions. Pour point depressants and a viscosity index (VI) improver are included, where required, to provide the optimum viscosity and fluidity across a broad range of temperatures.

Mobil Super High Mileage oils are available in four multi-viscosity grades: SAE 5W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30, and 10W-40.

Mobil Super High Mileage 5W-20, 5W-30 and 10W-30 contain friction-reducing additives. The American Petroleum Institute (API) classifies these viscosity grades (5W-20, 5W-30 and 10W-30) as "Resource Conserving" engine lubricants and meet or exceed ILSAC GF-5 / API SN. Those claims are backward compatible with earlier performance levels such as API SM, SL, and SJ and previous ILSAC categories.

Applications

Mobil Super High Mileage 5W-20, 5W-30 and 10W-30 are recommended for higher mileage (generally more than 75,000 miles) gasoline fueled automobiles and light duty trucks requiring an API SN, SM, SL or SJ product .They also meet the requirements of ILSAC GF-5 (Starburst Certification Symbol).
Mobil Super High Mileage 10W-40 is recommended for higher mileage gasoline fueled automobiles and light duty trucks where a higher viscosity oil is preferred or recommended and where an API SN, SM, SL or SJ product is required. A SAE 10W-40 oil may provide better oil consumption control in older vehicles where oil usage (burning) is an issue.
Before using a Mobil Super High Mileage motor oils, consult the owner's manual of the vehicle for the manufacturer's recommended viscosity grade and API Service Classification.
