Product Description

The Mobiltac Double Letter Series products are high performance, non-diluent type, heavy-bodied products intended for the lubrication of open gears over a wide range of environmental conditions and machine requirements. They incorporate extreme pressure additives for the protection of gear teeth and metal surfaces subject to extremely heavy loads. They form a cohesive and adhesive lubricating film that resists wear, water wash and excessive "throw off". They lubricate properly under boundary conditions. They resist peeling or flaking at sub-zero temperatures.

Mobiltac Double Letter Series lubricants are recommended for all-purpose applications in open gears. The two lighter grades meet many builder requirements for heavily loaded splash-type enclosed gearing.

Applications

Mobiltac Double Letter Series lubricants are recommended for all-purpose applications in open gears. The two lighter grades are used in heavily loaded splash-type enclosed gearing. Applications include:

Machinery components as hoist gears, swing gears, large press gears
Equipment in forge shops, pit or strip mining
Large earthmoving equipment and cement kilns
