Product Description

DIOL™ 11 RD 20W-40 is a premium heavy-duty crankcase lubricants for locomotive diesel engines. It was developed to meet the stringent performance requirements of Tier 4 locomotives. An Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD) and General Electric (GE) endorsed additive system provides excellent engine protection, enhanced oxidation performance, improved oil consumption control, and enhanced Alkalinity / TBN retention, and oil drain interval extension capability*.

Applications

DIOL 11 RD 20W-40 is formulated to an LMOA Generation 7 quality level with an engine manufacturer endorsed additive package. It meets the requirements of for all EMD and General Electric diesel locomotives.

 

DIOL 11 RD 20W-40 incorporates a field proven additive technology that offers enhanced oxidation performance and wear inhibitors. This addresses the deleterious effects of lower oil consumption and engine modifications in the new Tier 4 locomotive engines.
