DIOL™ 11 RD 20W 40 is a premium heavy-duty crankcase lubricant forlocomotive diesel engines. The product is developed to meet the stringentperformance requirements of Tier 4 locomotives. Older locomotive engineswill also benefit from using the DIOL™ 11 RD 20W 40. An Electro-MotiveDiesel(EMD) and General Electric (GE) endorsed additive system providesexcellent engine protection, enhanced oxidation performance, improvedoil consumptioncontrol, and enhanced Alkalinity / TBN retention, and oil drain intervalextension capability*.*Compared to DIOL 9 RD series

Applications

DIOL™ 11 RD 20W 40 oil is formulated to an LMOA Generation 7 quality level with an engine manufacturer endorsed additive package. it meets the requirements of for all EMD and General Electric diesel locomotives. The DIOL™ 11 RD 20W 40 product line incorporates a field proven additive technology that offers enhanced oxidation performance and wear inhibitors. This addresses the deleterious effects of lower oil consumption and engine modifications in the new Tier 4 locomotive engines. The DIOL™ 11 RD 20W40 offers enhanced Alkalinity / TBN retention, oxidation and thermal stability, and better acid control
