Mobil SHC™Gear 320 Wind Energy is a high-performance synthetic gear lubricant designed for wind turbine gearboxes application. Mobil SHC™ Gear 320 Wind Energy is based on our advanced proprietary additive system with premium synthetic base stock designed to deliver robust oxidative and thermal stability, consistent viscosity retention and effective micropitting resistance. Reliable gearbox protection can be secured for mainstream wind turbine operating scenarios.
Mobil SHC™ Gear 320 Wind Energy is formulated to provide balanced protection performance in all areas and meet the stringent performance criteria for wind turbine gear lubrication. It leverages on ExxonMobil's wide expertise and technology in wind lubricants so as to provide consistent and steady performance in the wind gearbox application.
Addressing industry focus on White Etching Cracks (WEC), Mobil SHC™ Gear 320 Wind Energy has undergone in-house performance testing to evaluate the performance and relation to WEC.

Applications
Mobil SHC™ Gear 320 Wind Energy is designed for the lubrication of the main gearbox in wind turbine power generation systems. It is recommended for applications that may be subject to micropitting, especially heavily loaded gearboxes with surface-hardened tooth metallurgies.
Mobil SHC™ Gear 320 Wind Energy has a recommended operating temperature range of -30 ºC to 100 ºC.
