Mobilgear 600 XP 1000 is an extra high-performance gear oil with outstanding extreme pressure characteristics and load-carrying properties, intended for use in all types of enclosed gear drives with circulation or splash lubrication systems. Mobilgear 600 XP 1000 is designed to stay ahead of the changing needs of gearbox technology. Gearbox technology design trends are towards smaller units with similar power throughput. Applications :
Mobilgear 600 XP 1000 lubricant is used in a wide range of industrial, especially spur, helical, bevel, and worm gearing. Specific applications include:
• Industrial gearing for conveyors, agitators, dryers, extruders, mixers, presses, pulpers, pumps (including oil well pumps), screens, and other heavy-duty applications.
• Non-gear applications include shaft couplings, and heavily loaded plain and rolling contact bearings operating at slow speeds.
• Used in circulated and splash lubricated systems of enclosed heavy-duty gears due its effective load carrying and extreme pressure (EP) additives content.
• Used in process sectors large bearings like cement kiln bearings.
• Recommended to increase the viscosity after a specific service period to enhance protection.
Mobilgear 600 XP 1000 is recommended for industrial spur, helical, and bevel enclosed gears with circulation or splash lubrication, operating at bulk oil temperatures up to 100ºC. It is particularly suitable for gear sets working under heavy or shock loads.
