Oil testing accuracy reaches new heights
We at ExxonMobil are continually improving and upgrading our Mobil Serv℠ Lubricant Analysis (MSLA) service.
Our latest enhancement sees the introduction of two new oil tests that will deliver even greater technical accuracy.
The new oil tests include:
- Thermometric testing – a precision method that assesses an oil’s ability to protect against corrosive wear
- Diluted Particle Count – a technique which measures the amount of solid contamination in a fluid
Oil samples from steam and gas turbines submitted for an Enhanced or Extended Service will be automatically subject to these new tests – at no extra cost. And the service will expand to other equipment in the coming months. Look out for further updates on the Gas Engine Hub
