The low‐viscosity, advanced full synthetic formulation can help to increase engine efficiency and improve fuel economy versus higher viscosity oils. Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy oils outperform conventional oils and meet or exceed the latest industry standards.

Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy is available in 0W‐16, 0W‐20 and 0W‐30 formulations. Mobil 1™ 0W‐16 Advanced Fuel Economy is recommended by ExxonMobil for select Honda and Toyota engines requiring a 0W‐16 viscosity oil. ExxonMobil recommends Mobil 1™ 0W‐20 Advanced Fuel Economy for 0W‐20 and 5W‐20 applications and Mobil 1™ 0W‐30 Advanced Fuel Economy for 0W‐30, 5W‐30 and 10W‐30 applications.

Mobil 1™ 0W‐20 Advanced Fuel Economy and Mobil 1™ 0W‐30 Advanced Fuel Economy flow faster than 5W‐20 and 5W‐30 motor oils, respectively, reaching your engine's vital parts faster during startup. Not only does this help reduce wear on engine parts but it also reduces the demands on your starter and battery. Mobil 1™ 0W‐20 and Mobil 1™ 0W‐30 are certified as "Resource Conserving" by both the International Lubricant Standardization and Approval Committee (ILSAC) and the American Petroleum Institute (API).

Mobil 1 0W‐20 and 0W‐30 Advanced Fuel Economy synthetic motor oils deliver up to 2 percent fuel economy improvement* and can save drivers more than $400 on gasoline over the life of their vehicles. That's a savings of about six cents per gallon of fuel. A typical passenger car with a 20‐gallon gas tank can go up to nine more miles on a tank of gas when using Mobil 1™ Advanced Fuel Economy in either 0W-20 or 0W-30. That equates to up to 250 more miles per year under typical conditions.
