Advancing Productivity Efficiently
Create an energy management system certified to ISO 50001
Industries across all sectors face the challenge of balancing productivity goals and energy management.
With new energy management standards – such as ISO 50001 – and increasing environmental protection requirements – such as the EU Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) – energy efficiency has become more vital than ever. It’s essential to uncover potential energy savings* to maintain high plant operational efficiency, stay competitive and increase productivity.
Many Mobil™ industrial lubricants have the potential to save energy*.reduce lubricant consumption. So they can help you improve productivity with lower maintenance costs and more up-time, with environmental care benefits from reduced energy consumption and used oil generation.
Energy management system
We work closely with experienced companies that provide energy optimization expertise for all areas of your company – including production processes – to create an effective energy management system.
Energy-efficient Mobil industrial lubricants can help contribute to fulfilling the requirements of ISO 50001 certification for relatively little investment or process modification. They also can help with a successful re-audit, demonstrating commitment and fulfilling a specific audit query.
What is DIN EN ISO 50001?
DIN EN ISO 50001 is an international standard for the development, implementation and certification of Energy Management Systems. The objective is to support companies in achieving long-term reductions in energy consumption and emissions by examining all energy-relevant factors and to make the company’s energy consumption transparent.
“Numerous energy-efficiency analyses are performed on an annual basis within the scope of ISO 50001. However, many of them end in front of the machine. In this case, it is particularly important to closely examine the production process. The role played by lubricants in lowering costs is often underestimated.”
