Excellent LSPI protection
Excellent protection against LSPI. I had purchased a new vehicle in 2009 with a gasoline powered turbo direct injected engine and trusted my new car to another oil brand priding themselves as “the first in synthetics”. After about 90k miles I had to rebuild the cylinder head twice from burned exhaust valves from the newly discovered phenomenon of LSPI. Later discovered that Mobil 1 already met the requirements of SN Plus/SP rated oils where my previous oil did not. Should have just used Mobil 1 from the beginning as I did in all my other vehicles.

Works for me
I'm using the extended performance on my 5.0L F-150 since I bought it at 30,000 mi and currently has 117,000. Been changing it every 5,000 even though it's good for more than that.

This oil is the best money can buy
I have been using Mobil 1 oils since the late 1970’s in every car, truck, tractor, lawnmower, basically every gas engine. Not to jinx myself but I have NEVER had an engine failure. My vehicle’s usually had 200,000 + miles when I gave them away to nephews and nieces which dove them for another few years!!

2007 Jeep Wrangler JK
I started using Mobil 1 5W20 EP after my initial 3000 Mile "break-in" period on my '07 Wrangler. I "ignore" the 15,000 to 20,000 mi change interval and opted to stay with Mopar's 3000 mile or 3 month owners manual requirements. YES it is a very expensive decision to change it on this schedule BUT... I have 182,000 miles on her with zero engine problems to date. A year ago she went in to have an intake manifold gasket changed and the valve rocker oil gallys / covers looked BRAND NEW no sludge or oil "stains"... about 3 months ago I had the Jeep Dealership reseal the lower oil pan (both are TYPICAL Wrangler issues), and again... I looked at the oil pan and it also looked BRAND NEW with no sludge or oil "stains"! (The Technician even commented on how good she looked) She does not "burn or lose" a drop of oil between changes and starts at -30F just as well as she does at +70F. What more can anyone ask from an engine with 182,000 miles on it? Thank you Exon / Mobil!!

Happy with Mobil
I’ve done the yearly oil change with this oil/filter combo now for 4 years on my 2 vehicles. The first is a 2001 Ford Explorer sport and the second a 2013 Ford F-150 XLT. It’s never done me wrong.

520,000 miles on 2000 Ford Expedition motor
Used Mobile 1 exclusively on a 2000 Ford Expedition motor and it had over 520,000 miles on the motor when I sold it in 2014. The new owner has told me he is still running it in the mountains of Montana and has done nothing to the engine. I changed oil every 3-4,000 miles. I am using the same oil in a 2014 Expedition and I have 165,800 miles on it with no problems with the engine.

This is a Great Oil
I have been using Mobile 1 in all of my cars for many years now and have noticed the engines have continued to perform flawlessly even when they had very high mileage.. I also noticed that the oil kept the engines clean and that I had a difficult time holding onto the oil filter during the oil change because it was still incredibly slippery even at the end of its life cycle. Thanks for this great product; you've won a lifelong customer.

I've been using Mobil 1 for about 30 years in an assortment of vehicles. I'm currently using Mobil 1 extended service 5W20 in a 2014 Ford Taurus with excellent results.
I've just in the past few months purchased a 2018 Buick Enclave with direct injection. We know what issues are going to develop with regard to sludge buildup on the intake valves with this system which will cause poor gas mileage and poor performance. We know that frequent maintenance is required without which an expensive manual cleaning will be required at some point. One thing that is helpful in terms of preventive maintenance is to use an oil with low Noack Volatility numbers. Unfortunately, this information is near impossible to get from most manufacturers. However, there are two manufacturers of Grade V engine oil that I know of that publish the Noack Volatility numbers on their website. Both show Noack numbers under seven which is great.

Great Cleaning Features 2016 Silverado 5.3
I have notice many comments about how black their oil is after a few thousand miles and some people are condemning the oil when they change from conventional oil or another synthetic brand. I have owned 3 new Silverados (5.3) and 1 new Colorado (5 cyl.). I changed to Mobil1 EP on all 4 trucks after the free dealer oil changes (GM Dexos) expired and then changed to Mobil1 EP. All 4 trucks had black or very dark oil after a few thousand miles. After each oil change (15,000 Mi.) it got a little lighter. By the 3rd or 4th oil change with Mobil 1 EP the oil was coming out a dark honey color. Also had a 1992 Ford Ranger (4Cyl.) I bought with 42k miles on it that I started using Mobil 1 EP. I ran it to 195K miles and sold it to a friend who then put another 65k miles on it. The poor Ranger rotted away but the engine was still going strong.
This convinced me. I'll stick with Mobil 1 EP.
The only thing that stinks now is the 2016 Silverado takes 8 quarts of oil. Now it is a $60+ oil change.

2006 Hyundai Azera
Hey Everyone. I've used Mobil 1 Extended in my 2006 Hyundai Azera and now have 220,000 miles with oil changes every 15,000 to 20,000 miles and the engine runs beautifully with gas mileage about the same as when I purchased it - on highways the mileage is off a bit, but I attribute the change to our cars required to run on corn oil after 2008 or so. My hyundai was rated at 26 highway when I bought it new and maybe Hyundai was off a bit, but I can say that I am currently getting 32 miles per gallon at 65 MPH with AC on in North Carolina - I was getting 35 early on and before the fuel change. I don't know if the oil is a contributor for the great mileage or if Hyundai underestimates, but I am not complying - I love my V6.
I've purchased a Genesis and I already pulled out the factory oil and replaced it with 10w-30 annual. Side note: I will keep my 06 until it fails.

I have a 2016 Ford Taurus with the 3.5L V6. I have been using Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W 20 and Mobil 1 oil filters. I have always followed the manufactures oil change intervals and this is my first vehicle that uses a computer instead of mileage to tell me when that time has come. My car told me to 'Change the oil soon', as I was down to 3% oil life remaining. I had 9,749 miles on the oil. I normally wouldn't put that many miles on engine oil, but I was planning on sending a sample into Blackstone-Labs for an oil analysis report to see how well the oil held up and if I should trust the cars computer. Blackstone-Labs had nothing but good things to say about my engine, the oil, and oil and air filter. All my wear averages were below normal (6,700 miles) and they recommended that I go 12,000 miles on this oil change and send in a another sample. Blackstone used a base line average of all different types of oil to compare my sample to and the Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W 20 surpassed their baseline oil samples. The next sample will let me know if I can go even further on before an oil change. Blackstone said " You managed to get excellent results even after longer than average oil run." I have been using Mobil 1 for several years and have never had an engine failure. I run it in my 2005 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with 190,000 miles on it and is still runs perfect.

Excellent engine oil
I'm a Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver and change my oil every 5000 miles with Mobil 1 5w-20 Extended Performance. Really keeping the wheels turning alot. I have 3 Honda Civics and the engines sounds as good as when I first bought them. I'm putting 5 to 6000 miles a month on my primary delivery vehicle.

Worst synthetic I have used to date!
I have a 109,000 miles on my truck with no problems with my engine. I have used Pennzoil and valvoline synthetics with great results. Neither burnt a drop in 5,000 miles all of which are highway miles at 2k rpm. But as soon as I switched to Mobil 1 it burns a quart every 1500 miles with the same driving conditions without compression loss or engine damage. After some research I found that it's do to this oils volatility which is high causing higher consumption. I doubt ill be using this oil again. Other oils for the same price performed better I'm disappointed since Mobil 1 oil filters are the best on the market but their oil is not even close

Best for performance
I run this in a 2011 Mustang GT that I'm just starting to mod. I have done my rounds with Castrol Edge and Valvoline Synpower in the past and they don't hold up as long and perform as well as Mobil 1 extended performance (and yes I even used Castrol edge extended performance). IMO it is due to Mobil 1s superior synthetic base stock used in it. ExxonMobil is not ashamed or trying to hide their base stock info. You can get it off their website !! Bottom line is when I fall asleep at night j feel better knowing that I have Mobil 1 in my engine to combat the higher engine temps and sludge prevention.

Nothing but the Best
This stuff is awesome, best oil around, I read about Amsoil, and all the other synthetic oils but when it comes down to it, Mobil 1 has got them all beat. I have a 2011 Ford Fusion SE with 97,000 miles on it and the engine purrs like a kitty cat, car accelerates very quickly and smoothly and I can contribute that to the oil I put in it which is Extended Performance. I live in Mesa AZ and in the summer the temperture reaches 115 degrees so I know Mobil 1 Extended Performance is protecting critical engine parts cleaning my engine so it will run for years to come. Thank you Mobil 1 for putting out such a great product. Im a loyal customer for life.

I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T with the 5.7 hemi. It has about 150,000 miles on it. I've use Mobil 1 EP 5W-20 for about the last 100,000 miles. I change my oil once a year, with a filter change at 6 months. It still runs strong. Highly recommended. Good price on the 5 quart jug at Walmart.

Cost a little more, but in the end you'll save!
I started using Mobil I oil over 7 years ago. My truck runs smoother and I have had no issues with the engine. Sure it costs more up front; but in the end you'll save ten times over that! This oil will definetky save you from those expensive repairs that are caused from inferior oil. I bought a Toyota Tacoma because of their reputation and reliability. I use Mobil 1 to make sure my Toyota stays that way! I love that I can change my oil every 7,000 to 8,000 miles not 3,000 like standard oils require!
This is the only oil I'll ever use. Try it for 6 months and you'll see a difference!

Mobil 1 Extended with a Mobil Extended is the way!
I am changing oil for 46 years on my own vehicles. I know most people don't give their car's oil and oil filter a second thought. Oil is the single most important thing one must do to protect your car's longevity! Clean oil protects engine components reducing wear allowing for better fuel economy! Save yourself money in the long run especially with high costs associated with automobiles and their repairs. Mobile 1 extended - the fountain of youth for all
I have run nothing but Mobile 1 extended in an F150 that I bought new in 1997. The truck is up to 450,000 miles now and it still runs perfect. No blowby whatsoever. Clean as a whistle under the valve covers. And this truck is a daily driver work truck that runs seven days a week in severe conditions. Mobile 1 is all that I will ever use.
