Applications

• Mobil 1 Truck & SUV motor oils are designed for gasoline-powered trucks and SUVs and are recommended by ExxonMobil for all types of modern gasoline-powered vehicles, including high-performance turbocharged, supercharged, multi-valve fuel injected engines found in passenger cars, SUVs, light vans and light trucks.
• Mobil 1 Truck & SUV is not recommended for 2-Cycle or aviation engines, unless specifically approved by the manufacturer.
• If your vehicle is covered by a warranty, follow the vehicle's oil life sensor or the oil change interval recommended in your owner's manual. Proper maintenance practices, including frequently checking the oil level to ensure that the appropriate amount of oil is present, are required to ensure effective performance.
• Always check your owner's manual for the manufacturer's recommended oil viscosity grade, API service classification and any builder approval.

I have been using synthetic oil in my truck for years with no problems. Why should I switch to new Mobil 1™ Truck & SUV motor oil?

If you have had good results with your current oil, we can understand why you may be reluctant to switch motor oil. However, now there is an oil, Mobil 1 Truck & SUV advanced full synthetic motor oil, that is specially formulated for truck and SUV engines to provide outstanding performance and protection in normal and more severe driving conditions, such as towing and hauling. All engines generate heat, but hardworking engines can generate additional heat, which can result in oil breakdown, excessive oil consumption (burn‐off) or even engine failure.

Wasn’t there a Mobil 1™ Truck & SUV motor oil available years ago? Is this the same formulation as the previous Mobil 1 Truck & SUV motor oil?

Our previously formulated Mobil 1 Truck & SUV motor oil was available for several years starting in 2006. The recently formulated Mobil 1 Truck & SUV motor oil is a modified formulation, and provides outstanding performance and protection in normal and more severe driving conditions, such as towing and hauling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marty from Mobil 1 is a brand I really trust! Mobil 1 is a brand I really trust! I believe Mobil 1 protects longer and holds up better under extreme conditions. It's the kind of protection you want for those short trips and frequent starts and temperature cycles. I trust it to provide the long distance protection after those short trips including heavy loads. I like the cleanliness inside the engines after where I may not drive many miles. I won't hesitate to make that long sustained mileage road trip knowing the engine internals get cleaner!

My time is also valuable. Additionally, by purchasing the full syn 10,000 mile protection, I can reduce my " down time" by 50%, or more for those folks still changing every 3k miles.. Add a Mobil 212A filter and I am good to go for another 6 months. Thanks Mobile 1 Team.
