Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy is available in 0W‐16, 0W‐20 and 0W‐30 formulations. Mobil 1™ 0W‐16 Advanced Fuel Economy is recommended by ExxonMobil for select Honda and Toyota engines requiring a 0W‐16 viscosity oil. ExxonMobil recommends Mobil 1™ 0W‐20 Advanced Fuel Economy for 0W‐20 and 5W‐20 applications and Mobil 1™ 0W‐30 Advanced Fuel Economy for 0W‐30, 5W‐30 and 10W‐30 applications.

Mobil 1™ 0W‐20 Advanced Fuel Economy and Mobil 1™ 0W‐30 Advanced Fuel Economy flow faster than 5W‐20 and 5W‐30 motor oils, respectively, reaching your engine's vital parts faster during startup. Not only does this help reduce wear on engine parts but it also reduces the demands on your starter and battery. Mobil 1™ 0W‐20 and Mobil 1™ 0W‐30 are certified as "Resource Conserving" by both the International Lubricant Standardization and Approval Committee (ILSAC) and the American Petroleum Institute (API).

Mobil 1 0W‐20 and 0W‐30 Advanced Fuel Economy synthetic motor oils deliver up to 2 percent fuel economy improvement* and can save drivers more than $400 on gasoline over the life of their vehicles. That's a savings of about six cents per gallon of fuel. A typical passenger car with a 20‐gallon gas tank can go up to nine more miles on a tank of gas when using Mobil 1™ Advanced Fuel Economy in either 0W-20 or 0W-30. That equates to up to 250 more miles per year under typical conditions.

*Fuel economy improvement is based on a comparison versus those viscosity grades most commonly used and a potential 2 percent fuel economy improvement. Actual savings are dependent upon vehicle/engine type, outside temperature, driving conditions and your current engine oil viscosity. Savings estimates are based on a gasoline cost of $3 per gallon, average fuel economy of 22.5 miles per gallon, annual mileage of 12,500 and lifetime mileage of 150,000.

A potential 0.2‐2.3% fuel economy improvement can be obtained by switching from higher viscosity oils to a 0W‐20 or 0W‐30 grade. Actual savings are dependent upon vehicle/engine type, outside temperature, driving conditions and your current engine oil viscosity. The higher your current viscosity, the greater the potential for savings.

Industry data confirms that lower viscosity motor oils, like the 0W‐20 and 0W‐30 viscosity grades offered as part of the Mobil 1™ Advanced Fuel Economy line, contribute to improved fuel economy over the life of the vehicle. However, fuel economy improvement can be influenced by many factors, including your vehicle/engine type, outside temperature, driving conditions, adjusting tire pressure and your current engine oil viscosity.

Mobil 1™ Advanced Fuel Economy motor oils are low‐viscosity, advanced full synthetic formulations that can help to increase engine efficiency and improve fuel economy.

Mobil 1™ 0W‐20 Advanced Fuel Economy  meets or exceeds many new car warranty requirements where SAE 0W‐20 or 5W‐20 oil is recommended. Mobil 1™ 0W‐20  Advanced Fuel Economy provides the high temperature protection of 5W‐20 oils while offering improved fuel economy. As a result, many consumers can benefit from improved fuel economy while obtaining outstanding engine protection for their vehicle. Mobil 1™ 0W‐20 Advanced Fuel Economy  should only be used in vehicles designed to operate on either 0W‐20 or 5W‐20 motor oil.

If your car manufacturer recommends a SAE 5W‐20 ILSAC oil, we recommend either Mobil 1™ 5W‐20 or Mobil 1™ 0W‐20 Advanced Fuel Economy. Mobil 1™ 0W‐20 Advanced Fuel Economy will not void new‐car warranties where an SAE 5W‐20 oil is recommended. Mobil 1™  0W‐20 Advanced Fuel Economy can provide better fuel economy and better low‐temperature performance than higher viscosity oils.

Mobil 1™ 0W‐30 Advanced Fuel Economy provides the high‐temperature protection of 5W‐30 and 10W‐30 oils while offering improved fuel economy. As a result, many consumers can benefit from improved fuel economy while obtaining outstanding engine protection for their vehicles.

If your car maker recommends SAE 10W‐30 ILSAC oil, we recommend either Mobil 1™ 10W‐30, Mobil 1™ 5W‐30, or Mobil 1™ 0W‐30 Advanced Fuel Economy, which offers the high‐temperature protection of 10W‐30 or 5W‐30 oils while offering improved fuel economy. You will not void your warranty where an API certified oil is recommended
